CTO Academy provide a unique end-to-end talent lifecycle service where we can help upskill (courses), train (coaching) and/or recruit the right people. With our recruitment service, we can also help the onboarding process by adding additional training or coaching where appropriate.

Each subscription includes a free 30 minute discovery coaching session where you can discuss anything about the courses, your career or a specific management issue you’re having to deal with.

When joining CTO Academy you receive immediate access to our management skills courses, lectures and supporting material, with 9 courses and >100 lectures and podcasts.

Every month we release new lectures, webinars and wider course material – often based on topics crowd sourced from our global community.

Upon successfully completing our end of course tests, you will receive a CTO Academy accreditation certificate

Yes, we help tech teams build up their management and softer skills. We provide offline workshops and mentoring, along with our standard online services. We’re also able to help identify and mentor future tech leaders.

Yes. We have a number of mentoring clients who do not subscribe to the course material, though your mentor might recommend you watch specific lectures and courses.

Yes. The eBook is free and available via our home page.

We release new lectures and course material most months. Sometimes it’s based around a particular theme and often we release content as a direct result of requests from our members. Each month you will be updated about the new content being released.

Subscription Questions

The CTO Academy course material is aimed at those wishing to achieve and excel in senior tech roles. We cover a range of the management and softer skills required including, leadership, tech management, personal development, finance, funding, HR, operations, tech management and wider commercial topics. We also look at the unique challenges faced by tech leaders working in early stage and fast growth companies.

All new subscribers receive the option of a FREE discovery coaching session with an experienced CTO coach. The topic of discussion is entirely down to you but our focus is to understand more about your motivation for joining and how we can help you achieve your target goals for next few months and years. We help you create a personalised learning path and measurable targets.

We’re constantly adding new lectures, podcasts and interviews to the platform. Often the topics are specifically requested by our members and/or based around an ongoing theme.

We offer a personalised service throughout your relationship with CTO Academy and you will be provided with direct email details to a senior member of our team to help with any questions, concerns and requests. This can be related to course material but also if any managerial or career issues emerge.

With each individual course we provide you with a test that helps to reinforce the learning and, upon successful completion, CTO Academy certification that confirms your achievement and can be used within your CV and on Linkedin.

Right from the start of your membership with CTO Academy, we work with you to identify how to get best value from our course material and coaching programmes. An initial complementary coaching session helps start that process and we will continue to work with you in achieving key targets and outcomes.

We can help with a range of management and personal development challenges, including any issues you’re having with career progression (or lack of). Our highly experienced career development team will be happy to work with you on a career development plan.

We want our course material and 1:1 coaching to help you achieve measurable gains. One of the ways we test progress is by providing you with regular skills assessments.
