You'll Never Walk Alone If…
Once you wear CTO boots, you'll often feel like you steer the ship from a very small crow’s nest. But here's the thing: top tech leaders don’t sail solo. Instead, they assemble a personal board of advisors to keep their vision sharp, their blind spots covered, and their sanity intact.
In our featured piece, we dive into why curating a handful of candid truth-tellers—think ex-founders, product mavericks, and seasoned CTOs—can be the ultimate antidote to leadership isolation and decision fatigue.
Grab a coffee and discover how building this micro-board could transform your next big call from a lonely leap into a confident, collective stride.

Meanwhile, median CEO tenure has slipped to about five years, while CIO/CTO tenure remains close to that mark. In short, the tech chiefs who master strategy, people, and storytelling can match—or outlast—the corner office.
Now, there are two ways to build these skills: trial and error—with zero guarantees—or this proven path →

CTO Community Pulse: This Week's Highlights
#Ask-the-Community: The Head of Engineering is looking for opinions on company-owned mobile handsets for smoke-testing their mobile app, the development of which is outsourced to a local company. In another instance, the Community gathered to help out a fellow CTO with the familiar challenge: reviewing and assessing a very (very) large portfolio of apps and programs.
#Membership: We hosted our second Superpower Session. Selected Community members delivered 10-minute presentations on their Superpowers--with time left over for a short Q&A. And Garib returned for his 4th CTO Shadowing session after introducing us to his journey so far and the challenges ahead with We Travel.
#Jobs-Offered: An NYC company is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager. The community member who posted the job offered to answer all the questions because he personally knows the hiring manager and knows the company well, too.
