Technology Leadership Newsletter
One last edition (for now)
One last edition (for now)
Over the past few years, thousands of technology leaders around the world have subscribed to our newsletter, joined our events, challenged our thinking and become part of the CTO Academy community.
Thank you to everyone who has engaged with us and played a part in our journey.
Behind the scenes, CTO Academy has been evolving.
Alongside continuing to support individual technology leaders through our leadership programmes and global community, we're now partnering directly with organisations of all sizes to build technology, digital transformation and AI capability across entire leadership teams—from executive boards through to middle management.
As a result of this evolution, we've decided that this will be the final edition of our newsletter in its current form.
We'll return in September with a completely new editorial focus: helping organisations build the capability needed to succeed in a technology-driven world, whilst continuing to support the technology leaders driving that change.
For those interested in the capability programmes we're currently delivering, I've included four examples below.
For now, I'd like to thank my colleague Igor Katusic for the consistency and commitment he's shown in producing these newsletters, and thank all of you for your continued feedback, support and contributions.
Have a wonderful summer, and we'll see you in September.
Best wishes,
Andrew Weaver

CTO Academy – Building Leadership Capability Around the World
Case Studies
Technology Leadership Capability
We're now into the second year of delivering a global leadership programme for The Hitachi Group, developing senior technology leaders across Europe, North America and Asia. The programme combines online learning, executive coaching and peer collaboration to strengthen the leadership capability needed to lead increasingly complex technology organisations.
Digital Transformation Capability
We're delivering a bespoke digital transformation programme for a major international financial institution, supporting multiple cohorts of leaders over the coming year.
Rather than teaching technology for technology's sake, the programme focuses on building the confidence, language and practical capability required to lead organisational change in a digital-first world.
Enterprise AI Capability
We're currently helping a multinational organisation operating across Europe design an enterprise AI capability framework.
The objective goes far beyond AI awareness. We're building practical AI capability at every level of the organisation—from executive leadership through to managers and operational teams—to enable confident, responsible and measurable AI adoption.
AI Engineering Capability
Alongside leadership programmes, we're also working with global technology organisations to rethink how engineering capability develops in an AI-native world.
This work focuses on the evolution of software engineers into AI-enabled product engineers through structured capability frameworks, practical learning and expert-led development.
